Refund and Cancellation Policy

This page tells you, before you pay, how cancellation and refunds work. Please read it first. We offer one programme, sold as a single payment.

1. 7-day refund

You can cancel and receive a full refund if you ask within 7 days of payment and you have completed less than 20% of the course's lessons, counted on the day you ask. You do not need to give a reason. There is no cancellation charge. Write to support@synaptova.com from your registered email, with your payment reference. Our system's record of your progress is used to check the percentage.

2. Module-access protection

Modules open one at a time: each module unlocks as soon as you have completed everything in the previous one. Inside a module, each lesson unlocks when you finish the one before it. If you complete a module and the next one is not available to you within 30 days, you may choose either: - a refund of the share of your fee that matches the modules not yet available, calculated in proportion to their planned hours; or - to wait, with your access period extended by the length of the delay.

3. When refunds are not available

After the 7-day window, or once you have completed 20% or more of the course, fees are not refundable, except under section 2, where the law requires it, or where we are unable to provide the Programme. Accounts suspended or closed for breaking the Terms (for example sharing access or lab codes) are not eligible for a refund. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer law.

4. Failed and duplicate payments

• Payment failed but money left your account. This is usually returned by your bank. Razorpay, our payment partner, says the issuing bank auto-refunds such amounts in about 7 working days. If it has not arrived after that, write to us with your payment reference and we will help you trace it.
• Payment authorised but not completed. Razorpay refunds authorised payments that are not captured, automatically, after 5 days.
• You paid twice. Write to us. If we received both payments we will refund the extra one to the original payment method through Razorpay. These timelines are Razorpay's published ones at the time of writing. They can change, and banks can take longer to show a credit.

5. How approved refunds are paid

We start an approved refund to your original payment method within 7 working days of approval. Razorpay states that refunds normally take 5 to 7 working days to reach you after they are started, and your bank may take a few more days to show the credit.

6. Access ends when you are refunded

When a refund is approved, your access to the Programme ends and your licence under the Terms ends. Certificates issued to you may no longer verify. You can keep the code you wrote.

7. Cancellation by us

If we cancel the Programme, or cannot provide access for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund of any part of the fee for content not delivered.
